Zapraszam na wędrówkę po wsi podhalańskiej, oddalonej jedyne 7 km od Zakopanego – serca górskiej turystyki. Poronin to bogata w ofertę turystyczną wieś, gdzie każdego roku przybywa wczasowiczów rządnych zaznania zimowych sportów. Poronin jest silnie związany z rozwojem ośrodków sportów zimowych w tym narciarskich.
Poronin kiedyś był bardziej znanym miejscem turystycznym niż Zakopane. Gościli w tym miejscu znani i wybitni artyści tacy jak m.in. Jan Matejko, Jan Kasprowicz czy Leopold Staff. Przez lata wieś rozwijała się, powstawały w niej liczne pensjonaty oraz ośrodki turystyki.
