Muzeum Obozów Jenieckich Żagań

Muzeum Obozów Jenieckich w Żaganiu to miejsce upamiętniające historię i los alianckich jeńców wojennych przetrzymywanych w obozach jenieckich w czasie II wojny światowej.

Założone w 1971 roku, mieści się na terenie byłych obozów Stalag VIIIC oraz Kriegsgefangenen Stammlager der Luftwaffe 3 Sagan. Jego celem jest uczczenie pamięci jeńców wojennych oraz dokumentacja ich prób ucieczki z niewoli.

Od 2009 roku funkcjonuje pod nazwą Muzeum Obozów Jenieckich i przypomina o tragicznych doświadczeniach jeńców wojennych z różnych stron świata.
